Soft-drinks in the provinces...

Image courtesy of Naypong / FreeDigitalPhotos.net

Coca-cola is a popular drink in the province.

It is so common that it is used as a generic term to refer to a bubbly soft-drink. If one would buy a Sprite from the store, one would say "Pabili ng Kok na Sprite." (I would like to buy Coke that is Sprite.) Or to buy Royal Tru Orange, one would say "Pabili ng Kok na Orange." (I would like to buy Coke that is Orange.)

As for Pepsi Cola in the province, did you know that Pepsi is sold in five (5) liters?

Liter P, liter E, liter P, liter S, liter I.
Did you count that? Five (5) liters, right?

(Didn't you mean "letters"?)

Young Nostradamus...

Imagine a scene where the Young Nostradamus is at the dining table with his Mom...

Nostradamus' Mom: "Nostradamus, finish eating your food."

Nostradamus: "I knew you're gonna say that."

NM: "There you go again."

N: "I knew you're gonna say that."

NM: "Stop it."

N: "That too."

(Looks like he has the makings of the man who saw tomorrow.)
